Patients with Developmental Disabilities: Keys to a Successful H & PThese two interactive cases were designed to improve the clinician's
comfort level and knowledge in working with patients who have developmental
disabilities. The modules were produced in response to the continuing
disparity in access to quality healthcare experienced by this patient
population. Choose a link below (first-time users may want to start with the "Getting Credit" option): Getting Credit There are two cases and two post-tests in this program. You may select one case for a single credit, or you may complete both for two credits. Each case takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Upon completing a case, you may immediately link to the post-test of 10 questions (a score of 70% is required TO RECEIVE CREDIT), or you may return to take the test later. See instructions at AAPA web site for details about receiving your CME certificate for this module. Getting Started Depending on your computer's system specifications, you may be prompted to upgrade or download specific software components in order for the courseware to perform optimally. Simply follow the instructions within the dialogue boxes on the program screen. You may test your computer to see if you have ALL required applications before you begin the program.
